Sumitomo Chemical America, Inc., is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible website that is available to all visitors. This page details the site’s accessibility features. We continue to work to improve the user experience for everyone.

This site can be entirely accessed without the use of a mouse.

Our Approach

The beekmanstudios.com website aims to meet or exceed the requirements of the level AA criteria of the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (WCAG WAI) 2.1 guidelines.

Features

Keyboard access
We have provided 'skip to main content' links to allow direct access past the navigation menu to the page's main content.

Text size
You can vary the text size by using your browser's text resize option: Three text sizes are available with size toggle option. However, depending on the text settings you choose, some pages' layout may display differently than we originally intended.

Alternative text for images
Alternative text is included for all images.

Heading elements
HTML heading elements that represent page structure support assistive technologies that allow page navigation from heading to heading.

Link text
We designed hyperlinks to make sense when read out of context. We have presented hyperlinks in a different text style from normal body text.

JavaScript independence
Wherever scripts are used for navigation or functionality, an alternative mechanism has been put in place if your browser does not support these scripts.

Color contrast
We have chosen text and image background color combinations to ensure that the contrast ratio is sufficient.

Style sheets
We used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control the pages' presentation and have used structured HTML for content. In addition, we have ensured that if style sheets are not supported or turned off, information on the website is available in an accessible format in line with WACG 2.1 AA standards.

News Section
Our News section contains news briefs, links, and other content extracted from external, third-party sources.  We do not own or operate these sources.  Please note that we are not responsible for third-party content and cannot modify it.  We have not evaluated or tested the accessibility of any external, third-party content.
